Elizabeth Holland

ABOUT:

Elizabeth Holland is an associate in the firm’s litigation division and specifically focuses her expertise on the representation of municipalities, counties, state authorities, and their employees.

 

Prior to joining Oliver Maner, Holland worked as a summer associate with the firm. She also completed prestigious legal clerkships with Governor Roy Barnes and the Barnes Law Group and Superior Court Judge Lawton Stephens. Additionally, Holland previously interned in the legislative offices of Congressman Sanford Bishop and State Representative Spencer Frye.

 

Originally from Sycamore, Georgia, Holland received her B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, and B.A. in Journalism/Public Relations, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia. She later earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. Holland served on the editorial board for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law (JIPL) and was awarded the 2018 JIPL Best Long Note Award. Her note, Will You Have to Pay for the O.C.G.A.?: Copyrighting the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, was cited in an amicus brief filed in the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a registered mediator and volunteer with Youth in Government and Georgia’s Youth Assembly.
