ABOUT:
S. Chase Parker is an associate in Oliver Maner's litigation department and specifically focuses his expertise in the areas of medical malpractice, plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death, business litigation, and domestic relations.
Prior to joining Oliver Maner, Parker served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jim Wilbanks and Honorable Scott Minter of the Georgia Superior Court for the Conasauga Judicial Circuit in Dalton, Ga. His experience also includes internships with the Fulton County Business Court; Savannah River Remediation; Barnes Law Group; and The Daily Beacon.
Originally from New Johnsonville, TN, Parker attended the University of Tennessee where he graduated with a B.A. in Spanish and was a recipient of the Frederick T. Bonham Chancellor’s Scholarship; Tennessee General Assembly Merit Scholarship; Tennessee Hope Scholarship; and member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society. Post-graduation, he attended the University of Georgia School of Law where he graduated, cum laude, with a Juris Doctor. While at UGA, he was the recipient of the Carl E. Sanders Scholarship and CALI Award in Evidence. He served as chair of the UGA Negotiations and held a position on the editorial board of the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law, Vol. 45.
Additional activities and honors include: Semi-finalist, 2018, ABA National Negotiation Competition; UGA Student Political Group President; 2017 Houston Energy Law Negotiations Competition Runner-Up; and Top Five 2016 ABA Regional Negotiation Competition.
