Bryan A. Schivera  



Bryan A. Schivera is a partner in the Tax and Corporate department of the firm. His primary areas of practice are business and tax law, estate planning, estate administration and probate, and estate and fiduciary litigation. Mr. Schivera was selected as a Rising Star in the area of Closely Held Business for 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. In his representation of closely held businesses, Mr. Schivera is able to assist family owned businesses in succession planning and general corporate matters. These matters include the formation and capitalization of business entities, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and contract drafting and negotiation.

Mr. Schivera, a native of Savannah, is a graduate of Benedictine Military School. He attended the University of Georgia, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Political Science. As a junior, Mr. Schivera was selected to participate in the E. Fleming Mason Memorial Internship Program and worked with both United States Senator John Thune and the LS Group in Washington, D.C. His senior year, he served as a legislative intern for Governor Sonny Perdue during the spring 2008 session.

Mr. Schivera graduated in 2011 from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, he served on the editorial board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. His note was selected for publication in the spring 2011 issue. During his time in law school, Mr. Schivera was selected for membership in Gridiron.


Mr. Schivera is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, previously serving as the co-chair of the Appellate Admissions Committee. He is a past President of the Savannah Young Lawyers Division and a former member of the Executive Committee of the Savannah Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Schivera is a graduate of the 2013 Georgia State Bar Young Lawyers' Leadership Academy class. Outside of his law practice, Mr. Schivera is a past President and current member of the Board of Advisors of the Savannah Civitan Club; Recording Secretary for the Italian Society of Savannah; a member of the Tournament Advisory Board for the Savannah Golf Championship, the Board of Directors of the First Tee of Savannah, Emerging Leaders Committee of The Savannah Community Foundation, St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, the Savannah Estate Planning Council and the Fine Gael Society.
