Patricia T. Paul is a partner with a practice emphasizing employment and federal discrimination law, Georgia workers’ compensation law, business and medical litigation, and legal writing and appeals.  She represents individuals, governments, and businesses.

She received her B.B.A. with General Honors from the University of Georgia, with a major in International Business, in 1982.  In 1985 she received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law.  From 1985 to 1988 she clerked for The Honorable Perry Brannen, Jr. of the Superior Court of the Eastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia.  She became a partner of this firm in 1993.  She is licensed to practice in all Georgia courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Eleventh and Federal Circuits.

Ms. Paul served as 2017 President of the Southern District of Georgia Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.  In 2018 she was appointed to the Nominations and Elections Committee of the Federal Bar Association.  She currently serves on the Constitution, Bylaws, Rules and Resolutions Committee of the Federal Bar Association.  In 2017 she was on the Friends Committee for the Atlanta convention of the National Association of Women Judges.

In 2019 she passed the CFA Program Level I exam, CFA Institute.  She is a CFA Level II candidate. 

She is past President of the Savannah Children’s Theatre, Inc. and the Savannah Jaycees.  She has been co-chair of the Attorneys’ Division of the local United Way campaign.  She is a graduate of Leadership Savannah.  For years she played in musical theater pit orchestras in Savannah, GA and Hilton Head Island, SC.

She is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.  Since 2013 she has been listed in Best Lawyers in America in the category of workers’ compensation – employers.  She has been included in Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite in labor and employment.
