Jacob D. Massee, a native of Fitzgerald, Georgia, is an associate in the litigation section of the firm. Mr. Massee received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Georgia in 2003. While attending the University, he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and was a Justice with the University’s Student Judiciary and the InterFraternity Council’s Judicial Board.
Mr. Massee graduated in 2007 from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. While at Mercer, he was an active member of the Moot Court Board and was a Finalist at the Ruby R. Vale Corporate Law Moot Court Competition in Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Massee served as Chair of the Moot Court Board during his third year of law school. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of Barristers. |

Mr. Massee is a member of the Savannah Bar Association and the Young Lawyer's Division of the State Bar of Georgia. He serves as President-Elect of the Savannah Young Lawyers Division. Mr. Massee is also a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
Mr. Massee works primarily in the areas of municipal liability, financial institutions law, personal injury, and business litigation. Mr. Massee is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and he is admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States District Court of the Southern District of Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. |
