Hinchey is a trial lawyer in the trial practice and litigation section of the firm. Hinchey concentrates his practice in the areas of severe personal injury/wrongful death, business litigation, and medical malpractice defense.
A Savannah native, Hinchey graduated from Benedictine Military School. Hinchey attended SMU Cox School of Business, earning a B.B.A. in finance in 2009. While attending SMU, Hinchey was the University Scholar Award Winner (2005-09) and was a member of the Finance Club and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

Hinchey attended Samford University, earning a joint J.D./M.B.A. degree in 2013. While at Samford, Hinchey concentrated on trial practice and litigation. Hinchey earned Scholar of Merit Honors in Trial Advocacy, Advanced Trial Advocacy, and Constitutional Law. He was awarded the Nat Bryan American Board of Trial Advocates Award, the William J. Peeler Advanced Trial Advocacy Award, was a member of Cumberland's nationally ranked trial team, and served as Vice President of the Joint Degree Students Club.

In addition to his trial practice, Hinchey is active in Savannah's civic affairs. Hinchey is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Sons of the Revolution, the Public Policy Committee of Step Up Savannah, the State Bar of Georgia, the Savannah Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division.
